The Communication section of the Core instructor portal allows you configure automated communication with your students/clients. If there's a type of automated message/notification that you'd like to be able to send with Core, let us know at [email protected] - we'd love to hear about it!
Enable/disable individual messages using the toggles in the Automated Messages section of the page.
When a message is enabled, it will be sent to any user who completes the event specified for that specific message. For example, for Welcome Message: Monthly Subscription, the message will be sent to any user who purchases a monthly subscription, immediately after checkout.
When a message is disabled, it simply will not send.
Click View/Edit Message under a message to update the template for that message.
You can modify the subject line and body for the message. Use dynamic variables to personalize your messages, and be sure to add links so that your students can take action!
If you'd like to preview a message without saving/enabling it, use the Send Test Email section at the bottom of the editor. Input an email address and click Send Test Email. Note that when you send a test message, we'll use your own info to populate any dynamic variables (e.g. {{student_firstname}}).
